What happens when your iPad accidentally gets erased and now you are desperate to restore some files from your PC to your iPad? You would know the struggle if you’ve ever gotten a new iPad and had to shift to it from the old one, transferring the old files to your PC and then to the new one can be a struggle, especially if you don’t have any backup software working.
Would you like to stop wasting hours on end when you want to transfer files to iPad without iTunes? There are 2 easy way to do that, and that is through cloud, through email.
1. Transfer files to iPad without iTunes with Cloud Drives:
a) Choose one of the many cloud drives. Popular drives include Apple’s iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, and Box.
b) Set up an account for the drive you want to put all your files in, and simply drag and drop your files from your desktop to the drive.
c) After completing the backup process, recall the files from you iPad.
Note: All drives will offer only a limited amount of storage space, it could be 1 GB to 10GB or more. When choosing a drive, remember to factor in the amount of space you need in order to backup and restore all your files. You also need an internet connection.
2. Transfer Files to iPad without iTunes with Email:
a) Simply choose the specific files you want to transfer to your iPad and email them to yourself.
b) Access your email from your iPad and retrieve the files. While this is a very easy way, it is inefficient for the most part.
Note: Emailing yourself files can be a slow process as you have to individually upload and download each file from your PC and iPad respectively.
But if you don't want to use the above 2 ways, you should catch the new way: Transfer Files to iPhone without iTunes.
